PITTSBURGH (April 28, 2006) Each year, the Pittsburgh Radio and Television Club (PRTC) recognizes outstanding individuals in the communications industry. Award winners in the three areas of Radio, Television and Allied/Agency are honored for their significant contributions to the Pittsburgh market. This year the winner for Radio is Larry Richert of KDKA-AM. The Television winner is Stacey Smith of KDKA-TV. Michael Brunner is the recipient of the award for Allied/Agency. Smith and Richert are both longtime members of Pittsburgh AFTRA. Brunner is the CEO of Blattner-Brunner, an AFTRA signatory agency. The awards were presented at a black tie event this evening at the Oakmont Country club hosted by Jack Bogut. |
