PITTSBURGH (February 27, 2008) If there's ever a reason to use a phrase like "the end of an era", this is it. Myron Cope has died. He was 79. The cause of death was given as respiratory failure. Myron was a fixture on the local airwaves from the early seventies until his retirement from Steelers broadcasting in 2005.
