Join AFTRA in the Labor Day Parade...
9:45 a.m. – AFTRA contingent gathers.
We're gathering to march this year in the East Parking Lot off Center Ave. above where we've gathered the last couple of years.
Come on up to the Unity Division (we're # 129) by 9:45 to join with the rest of our contingent for coffee, donuts and one of the largest Labor Day parades in the nation! We also will have a 50/50 raffle this year as well as a give away or two so if your thinking "I can't go to Labor Day because I will miss my gambling !" then we have you covered.
Remember friends and family are welcome! Come join your Local Brothers and Sisters as we celebrate our efforts and the efforts of countless others on our behalf. T-Shirts and hats are pretty cool this year; and oh yeah , did we mention our Bag Piper?
10:00 a.m. – March begins!
AFTRA escorts union station vans and vehicles. Route: Centre to Grant to Boulevard of the Allies. Ends at review stand in front of Steelworkers Building.
12:00 noon - AFTRA Pool Party and Barbecue!
Right at our office building (625 Stanwix) on the 14th Floor pool deck. Bring your suit and towel. Cool off, picnic, and enjoy. Kids welcome. Lots of food and drink. No charge but donations welcome.
