PITTSBURGH (December 16, 2009) KDKA talk host Fred Hosnberger died at his Monroeville home this morning. He was 58 years old. Mr. Honsberger's death followed a lengthy battle with medical issues. Honsberger started at KDKA as a news reporter, then News Director - ultimately becoming a talk show host. He recently celebrated his 30th anniversary with the station.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 20th, 2 PM at the Salvation Army, 424 Third Ave, in Pittsburgh (412 394-3583 ext. 203).
