9:30 a.m. – AFTRA contingent gathers.
We'll meet again this year in the East Parking Lot off Center Ave. where we gathered last year.
Members... come join us for coffee, donuts and one of the largest Labor Day parades in the United States of America!
Friends and family are welcome! Bring your spouse, your kids, or even crazy uncle Rick and join your brothers and sisters as we celebrate our efforts and the efforts of countless others on our behalf. T-Shirts and hats are pretty cool this year, too.
10:00 a.m. – Parade begins!
AFTRA members will escort union station vans and vehicles. Route: Centre to Grant to Boulevard of the Allies. The parade ends at the review stand in front of the Steelworkers Building.
12:00 noon-ish - AFTRA Pool Party and Barbecue!
Ever seen the pool at our building? It's on the roof on the 14th floor party deck. (See below) Right after the parade, come to 625 Stanwix Street. Bring your suit and towel. Cool off, picnic, and enjoy. Lots of food and drink. No charge, but donations are always welcome (especially side dishes!).
