PITTSBURGH (March 5, 2009) It's tax time again, and people in our business have some unique tax issues. Actor Mark Bradley of the Twin Cities has a new e-book that addresses these problems specifically.
Let's hear from Mark himself. “My name is Mark Bradley, and I’ve been a professional actor for over 35 years. For several years, I presented tax seminars for actors in my local area, and for a few more years, I helped actors in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. “One thing I've learned in all that time is that nobody -- including some trained accountants and the writers of general-purpose tax guides -- really understands how we actors live our lives, on a day-to-day basis, and especially financially. “Every actor is his or her own little business, and we have legitimate business deductions, just like any other enterprise. The Actor's Tax Guide zeroes in on the kinds of unique business expenses actors have, and provides a simple, guided process for calculating and reporting your deductions. “I can’t guarantee that “you’ll love doing your taxes,” but I think I CAN guarantee that The Actor’s Tax Guide will make the process a lot less stressful.” The Actor's Tax Guide is available online at www.ActorsTaxGuide.com.
