PITTSBURGH (April 21, 2005) At last week's Board meeting, the Nominating Committee announced its slates for the upcoming election. The 2005 Nominating Committee was empanelled at our February Board and Membership meetings, and consists of Mark Roberts - chair, Chuck Aber, Alan Boal, Dennis Bowman, Evelynn Hawkins, and Sean McDowell.

After several meetings conducted by phone and e-mail, the committee reached consensus on the recommended slates.

The following are nominated for Officers of the Local.

Paul Martino - President
David Early - VP
Mark Roberts - Treasurer
Barbara Boylan - Secretary

For the seven open freelance Board positions, these are the Committee's nominees.

Susan Brozek Scott
Evelynn Hawkins
Harry O'Toole - incumbent
Dean Patterson - incumbent
Jay Silvers
Gordon Spencer- incumbent

The membership has thirty days to nominate others by petition.
