HAER NAMES OFFICE MANAGER
PITTSBURGH (March 15, 2004) - After a comprehensive search during which over 130 resumes were received, Executive Director John Haer reports a new Office Manager has been chosen. Her name is Audrey Glickman, and she comes to us with impressive credentials.
Ms. Glickman's resume includes a 14-year stint at Buchanan-Ingersoll, where she served as a Legal Secretary, and 4 1/2 years as Director of Finance and Operations at Gargaro Productions, Inc. More recently, she has been acting as Managing Director pro tem at the Mary Miller Dance Company.
In addition, she served as Production Assistant/Media Secretary at the former Ketchum, MacLeod and Grove. She also has been a proofreader for [Western] Pennsylvania Health and Fitness and Pittsburgh Now!.
Audrey earned a B.A. in Theatrical Production from the University of Pittsburgh, and has taken Graduate courses in Television Production.
The search has been ongoing since Kate Madey announced her resignation in January. John Haer, Suzanne Steidl and members of AFTRA's Executive Committee participated in the interview process. Our two temps, Kay Soell and Nicole Wisniewski filled in ably during the process. We thank them for their hard work.
Audrey Glickman's first day is March 22nd. Please join us all in welcoming her to AFTRA Pittsburgh.
